Write a Letter

HELPFUL TIP:

Adding a Topic makes it easier for users to find your open letter. The Topic should succinctly state the subject matter, idea or theme of your open letter (e.g. Global Warming, The Current Financial Crisis, End Animal Testing, etc.).

HELPFUL TIP:

Adding tags (keywords or terms used to describe or identify an open letter) makes it easier for users to find your open letter. And tags help users find open letters that have a common theme or subject matter. Separate multiple tags with a comma.

HELPFUL TIP:

You can enter a category or choose one from the Category list. The Category field features autocomplete functionality, which suggests category choices based on each letter you type. For example, as you type the letters "P-O-L..." into the field, it will display a drop-down list of categories that includes Polar Ice Caps, Politics, Pollution, etc. Just click on a category in the drop-down list to select it.

HELPFUL TIP:

By default all of your open letters will be signed, "Sincerely, [Full Name]." If you'd like to use a different closing to sign your open letter select this box. Type your closing signature into the Write a Letter field.
